This had to have been one of the most fun off-roading trips we have taken. Or maybe it is because it has been such a long time since we have done a day long trip. But we had a great time. It a great Saturday family outing.

| This was the first stop to move a tree out of the road. Next time we are bringing a chain saw. |
Brad joined an off-road group in Twin Falls and decided that it was time we went with them on a run. Our goal was to reach the mine on top of Boulder Mountain just past Ketchum Idaho.
We knew there was a good chance of snow still on the ground, and we were excited to try out the cruiser. We were the only ones that brought kids... or a wife for that matter. But we has so much fun!

| Look at the view |
There were a few areas that my heart was pounding in my chest: like when we were on a narrow road along a steep drop off with shale rock surrounding us... and then snow that tilted the cruiser. I seriously thought we were going over the edge; it didn't help that I was on the outside edge looking down at the drop. But Brad made it with his sweet driving.

But then there were awesome parts, where we crossed the stream, saw amazing views, and then drove in the stream. We even ended up hiking in the snow for a little ways, but at 9,000ft we were definitely huffing and puffing!

| Part of the Stream that we forged. |
My favorite two quotes of the day: After a close call with almost hitting a tree. Treyson asks Brad "Dad how expensive was the Cruiser?" Brad and I both look at each other and he says "Don't remind your Mom, but it was expensive"
Then Kambree had a great time leaning looking out the window and saying hello and hi there to all the trees. It was too cute.

| The spring run off was absolutely crazy, Water was everywhere. |
This was as far as the cruiser could make it. We still had a mile and a half left to go to get to the mine. And the snow was too deep for the heavier Land Cruiser. So after attempting we parked the crusier and hitch a ride with a few of the others.
 |
| The waterfalls were pretty amazing too. |
Sadly they only made it a 1/4 mile farther and the snow was too deep for them also. They ended up pulling out 3 of the 4 vehicles. So we called it a day. The kids loved riding in the open cab jeep. Treyson kept saying "he has been dreaming his whole life to ride in one of these."

| My cute kiddos |
On our way back I made the kids stop at take a picture on top of one of the many boulders. It was just such a cool place. Benson most definitely was not liking the top of the rock.
 |
| And the full scenic view. AWESOME! |
