Has it really been a whole month since I last posted?? Sorry. I will give you just a taste of what has been going on. (WARNING this ended up being kind of long, but as much as I love that you read my blog, I mostly do this so I can keep track of what we did, if you just skim I understand. Pictures are coming tomorrow. )
Brad has been super busy with Peds and ICU... but he has been able to be home some of the time. He is now the 1st counselor in the Elder's Quorum Presidency. So it adds a few more meetings. I have to admit some days are definitely worse than others, but we are adjusting pretty well. Oh and Brad has now picked up soccer. He plays every Saturday night, I never thought he would be a soccer guy but he enjoys it.
Acadia is loving school... of course but getting her to do her homework has become a challenge. She is suppose to read her primer books everyday, but they are super easy for her. She each morning it is a stand off between me and her. She calls them her baby books, and seriously hates reading them. But I can't ever get get her to put down her chapter books even to eat with out a whine, whimper or fit. She still love to dance, of course. And she is enjoys doing pixos lately. Her latest comment is "Its not fair I have to do chores, I spend all day at school and Trey just gets to play, he should do all the work." Ahh gotta love the drama. She a huge help even with the grumbling.
Trey is still trying to find his place in Spokane. There are not many boys his age in our ward. So he is usually stuck with mom for most of the day. We play lots of games, cars, and blocks, but he gets bored with me. I just signed him up for soccer this spring. He is so excited and asks me everyday if it is spring yet. Let just say that we will be very happy when the starter pack comes in the mail. He is funny. I love this age when they just blurt out what they think. Like today we were all brushing our teeth to go to church. He pipes up to Brad,
Trey: "Dad you know my teacher doesn't brush her teeth."
Both Brad and I look at each other with this slightly confused looks. "huh?"
Trey: "Yeah, when I talked with her, she had stinky breath so that means she doesn't brush her teeth"
I know the wrath of Trey's honest... I have been the victim more than once.. like when he informed me that I must be having another baby because my tummy was big again. Gotta love that age.
Bree is the one that is growing up so fast. It is crazy how much she has changed. She took her first three steps this weekend... she is following in her sister and brother in walking early at 9 months. I don't know if it is a good thing or not, but her face just lights up when she takes those steps. She now says da da da da da and well that's about it. Which is great for me because when I ask her " Who do you want to change her diaper?" I know her answer. She got in her two front bottom teeth, and now chomps on everything including brothers and sisters fingers. She is into everything, like the dvds, all books (which to Acadia's dismay usually means drool covered books), Brad's night stand, Brad's binder, and of course the toilet. Yeah lets just say we are training everyone to shut the bathroom door.
Me, well I have been busy running the RS enrichment committee's latest project called a new year a new you. I is a fun program that has gotten quite a few ladies in our ward together to work on personal goals and weight loss. This is our last week and so far we as a ward have lost 153 pounds. It has a been a fun thing for me to do, I have gotten to know so many more sisters in our ward. I haven't been able to go running because Brad leave so early so I have been doing the Biggest Loser work out videos.... they are awesome. So try them out if you can't get out to run, they are worth it. It is helping me to lose my big tummy (according to Trey) The other project that Brad and I are working on is painting our living room walls, replace the carpet, lay down kitchen flooring, and remodeling our downstairs bathroom... mostly they are in the planning and deciding stages, (neither Brad or I can make up our minds). The rest of my free time right now is trying to figure out a book for May's book club... any suggestions?????
I am on our little computer so I have no pictures, Tomorrow I promise I will have lots of pictures you can look at like the 100th day of school, sledding, and other activities.

So great to hear how you guys are - you sure are missed around here! I know what you mean about february flying by and the drama stuff - andrew is the same way - maybe it's the age?! Can't wait for pictures! :)
Danielle, I have missed your posts! I loved hearing about what you guys are up to! I'm glad your enrichment activity has gone well! I should do try the Biggest Loser workouts. Way to go, Brad, with the new calling! Just when you think life can't get any busier, right?? :)
Acadia-such a smartie pants! I think of you and your amazing reading skills a lot!
Treyson-Lucas misses you a ton. We should publish a book of Lucas and Treyson quotes. It would be a hit!
Kambree-good job keeping your mom on her toes and getting your dad to change that diaper! :) We are all very proficient at keeping the bathroom door closed at our house!
Hmmm, a book.... If you haven't read The Peace Giver, it is very good. Non-church books, I've been enjoying the author Shannon Hale. Austenland and The Goose Girl were good. Did you ever read Chalice by Robin McKinley? It was different, but I really liked it!
Ha! A LONG comment for your LONG post! :) We miss you guys!!
Where is Trey doing soccer?!? I need to sign Sam up! :)
