Fire on the South Hills

For the last week we have had smokey days and nights. Brad and I went for a drive and we found where it was all coming from. I couldn't believe it. The fires weren't that far from our house. After watching the fire truck race down the road and the billowing black cloud we understood why we constantly smelled like we had been camping.

But it does give us awesome sunsets.

 It does create amazing sunsets though. Hopefully the firefighters will get it under control, before it burns up the farmers fields.

But on a lighter note, we had so many boxes that  we decided to day was the day to make the box fort. The kids have played in for 2 hours today... bliss since we are starting to get on every ones nerves. Now we just need friends to play in it with!
