Hunting Beach and Friends

These are all of our kids. It was crazy to think that the last time we saw each other there
was only 6 of them, now there is 11! Name call: Robbie, Treyson, Lucas, Lincoln, Ella, Acadia, Mia, Kaitlyn, Kambree, Joshua, and Benson!
We were so lucky to be able to get together with some of our friends from Medical School.  The Salos, now live in Ca, and the Tringali's were willing to make the drive down from their house so we could all meet and hang out for a few days.  Thanks so much to the Salo's for letting us all crash at your place.

Kambree and Kaitlyn had a great time playing together. They loved making sand castles.
One night we all headed to Huntington Beach and enjoyed the water, and our traditional cookouts. Swimming in November is always crazy to think about, but the kids jumped in as soon as we got there.

Treyson and Lucas were fast  compadres. They were excited to see each other again after a year.
Treyson was upset when he realized that we wouldn't be seeing Lucas anymore in Spokane, since we moved and so when we told him we would be able to stay at his house for a few days he was elated.

Kambree finally decided that the water was okay to try.

Acadia an Mia trying to body board.
Acadia hadn't seen Mia for over 4 years. It was so fun to see them being best buds again.  They had a great time running around together.

Here we are.  Danielle, Sharlene, and Natalie.
It was so good to see these girls again.  We did so much in Henderson that to be honest when we all moved I didn't know how I was going to survive. They were my life line to fun, friendship, and sanity through Med school.

After everyone had run around in the water we all cooked hotdogs over the fire, and talked. The kids ran around the beach like crazy little people but we could hear laugher the whole time. The adults talked about funny memories and caught up on the last few years.

What I think the best part about the whole weekend was the realization that true friendships last over long distances, and even when you don't see them very often. We had a great bunch of friends that changed our lives in Henderson. For 4 years we all leaned on each other and learned from each other.  Now we just need to get the rest of them together!

Having a lazy Sunday afternoon

This is all of us!
