In the Pool Again!

The heat is back, our A/C is running, and we are back in the pool. It is a bit nippy but once you take the plunge it is very enjoyable. The kids love it! Our friends have invited us out to the pool everyday this week. It has been wonderful. Summer here we come.

Acadia had to try out Lucas' alligator

Although today we came home and Acadia's nice natural blonde highlights are all green. I had heard of that happening but I really didn't think it was real. Well, I was wrong. We washed and washed and washed with no avail. Until I went to a great source, the internet. We rinsed her hair in lemon juice, and then mixed baking soda with shampoo and washed her hair again. It worked. Most of the green is gone. We had to use almost a half a bottle of conditioner though to make her hair manageable after that.
