Bikes, Paper Airplanes, BBQ's, and Friends

So we have been just hanging out around home lately. Nothing too exciting, but at the same time very enjoyable. Since the weather has been nice we have be outside constantly. The kids are back to riding their bikes with me following behind. They go so fast; it's a very fast walk to keep up with them.

Last week had a day of wind. Brad and the kidos had made paper airplanes while I was doing Activity Days, so it was the perfect time for them to really try them out. Here is the video of them flying their airplanes in the wind. The kids thought it was the greatest thing. They adore their dad.

Since the weather has been wonderful we decided to get back into the BBQ mode. So I sent out emails and got a huge response for a BBQ at the Park. It was so fun. Everyone brought their own meat and a side and we provided the coals to cook on and homemade Rootbeer (thanks Jesse for the recipe). It was huge hit, and we got all the left over rootbeer slush. YUMMMY!
We got to see and talk to so many people it was great. That is one thing I will miss about Las Vegas nice weather and friends that are willing to do things on the spur of the moment.

Ella and Trey playing on the slide.

It was so funny to watch them play. They would climb up the slide then Trey would let go slide down taking Ella down on his way. They thought it was the funest game.

We did have a wonderful surprise (two of them actually) the Andrews and the Tringali's came to back to visit for a day. After spending every day with these two families it has been hard to have them move away (clear across the country away). But it was really fun to have them back.

The Andrews were here first and were able to come the BBQ. They flew in and out of Las Vegas on their way to visit family in Utah. It was good to see them.

(Enjoy my 33 week prego belly, I'm not into taking weekly shots of me pregnant. It just makes me depressed)

The Tringali's made a surprise vist on their way to Utah also a few days later. So we had a picnic at the park, again. The kids loved running around until all hours of the night. Then the guys got together and went hot tubbing. Brad didn't get home until 1:00 am. Can you tell he has missed his biking/ studying/ computer/ etc buddy. The next day we went to Lucille of lunch before they took off. It was fun! We love having friends come and visit.
