Summer Activities

To help our kids get adjusted to the move we decided to put them in a few classes.

Swimming Lessons

Treyson kicking in the Super Pee Wees Class

Trey learning the backstroke

Trey loved swimming lessons. He had a great time with his teacher. He passed everything but the bobs. His teacher said they would leave that until next year, because he can't pass until he is six.

Acadia doing her testing day. She had to swim 25 yards unassisted, back float for 10 secs by herself, and various other things. She passed, but we were wondering if she was going to or not because she kept talking the teacher into carrying her...

But she step it up and passed. Way to go Acadia and Trey!

Gymnastics

Acadia was so excited for this... surprise huh :) Doing a hand stand. Both of my kids have now taken up doing hand stand wherever they are. No wall or door is safe.

Acadia practicing her swings on the uneven bars

Trey doing the balance beam. It was pretty high up.

I know many of you are wondering why the heck did I put my little boy in gymnastics. Well I tell you it was the best thing for him. He got to jump and climb and hang on stuff. He really enjoyed it and I hope it helped with his balance. Mostly he just enjoyed him self.

Trey dismounting off the beam

They worked on the uneven bars, the balance beam, vault, floor all of it. Both of my kids had a great time. Enjoy the video!

Andy did gymnastics when he was growing up and he loved it. He is still able to do his flips and things. Looks like you kids are having a blast.
