The Eclipse

We were so excited to go and see the Lunar Eclipse. We thought we would have no problems seeing at all since we live in Nevada... Where is rains what 4 times a year. Well we were wrong... Dead wrong. It was overcast all day and night we didn't see anything. ARRRRRRGH! We even went up on the tallest mountain we could find with the Jeep. ( I think that was best part for Brad) But no luck.


Although being on top of the mountains was very very peaceful. You don't realize how much noise is constantly bombarding you when you are in the middle of it. We did get to see the beautiful city lights though. That was worth the ride, even if we couldn't see the eclipse. Maybe next time in what 5 years? The wind was so strong that the kids refused to get out of the jeep so it was kind of like a date for Brad and I.
