Nelson, Nevada

This is the view right before the you get to the lake--
it looks like the lake is in a crater. Pretty cool.

Brad and I love to go with Bennett and Becka Oberg on little day trips. They have some of the coolest places to see. Places that I would have never though could even be here in Nevada. It also helps that they are willing to pick up and go when ever-- so we do alot of spur of the moment things with them. It is great!

Just relaxing

This time we went about 40 minutes away from our house and found a very nice inlet of Lake Mead. The kids loved the water.. of course. They threw rocks in the water and climbed up the big rocks. They had a great time. We enjoyed a nice picnic and the beautiful scenery. We actually saw jet skiers and boaters--- we wished we could be out there with them.

Mountain climbers

The guys took the kids up on a hike if you look really close you can see them on top of the point.

Your bread looks great - I think it's been at least 6 years since I've made any. Way to go! Also, those tunnels look way cool - I want to know where to find them, I think my kids would love it.
