Out For A Drive

Brad was bored with the inside of our apartment ( I don't know how that could be seeing how we have so much space!) So we loaded everyone up into the jeep and took a road trip to Lake Mead. We had a lot of fun, until the Jeep started to over heat-- we were going to go to Overton to some Sand Dunes there and let the kids play but we only made it part way up Lake Mead. We did find some pretty cool rocks to climb on though while we let the Jeep cool down.

The kids were kind of whiny but we forced them to get out and play. I think we must be awful parents -- making our kids play outside-- the sad thing was I was actually cool outside the jeep than inside because we had to run the heater-- and the AC wasn't working in the first place. It was quite the adventure-- Isn't that what life is about ? We played on the rocks then headed home and now Brad gets to do his favorite thing-- work on the Jeep some more-- Isn't he lucky!
